Dog Training
If you're looking for thoughtful dog training that is positive and relationship-building, then you've come to the right place. Positive reinforcement dog training works by using praise and positive actions or rewards, rather than punishment or correctional actions, to teach your dog right from wrong. The key with this type of training is to determine what it is that motivates your dog, and use that motivator as a reward upon correct performance. In positive reinforcement dog training you can use treats, toys, physical affection, verbal praise or a combination of any of those, to reward your dog for correct behavior.
We Don't:
-
Use prong, shock or choke collars
-
Jerk on the collar to correct the dog
-
Correct the dog when we haven't already completely taught him what we want him to do
-
Set the dog up for failure

Doggy Day Care
We understand dogs and their need to exercise. Boredom leads to destructive behaviors such as chewing, licking, digging, or barking. Play keeps a dog's body and mind active - and builds a healthier, happier, better behaving pet. That's why your dog's stay with us is always rich with activities and attention. Every day is filled with stimulation, interaction, play, as well as nap and quiet time, in a clean, healthy, fun and nurturing environment. We are dedicated to ensuring that your dog is well cared for at all times. Lake County Dogs provides socialization and exercise in a cageless environment 365 days per year Call or email us for further information.
